Given that at various times, Kevin has taught both Secondary and Primary level education (including as Head of Religious Studies), as well as ESOL, he is perfectly equipped to combine the twin skills of teaching and performing stand-up comedy, in order to provide stand-up comedy workshops and courses.

To date, he has provided workshops at a variety of arts centres and theatres, and is now responsible for teaching a full six week course – seven including the showcase – at the celebrated Hull Truck Theatre. Having completed three full courses at the Hull Truck Theatre, many of Kevin’s students have gone on to perform both locally and nationally, adding new gigs to the scene in the process – thus enhancing the presence of stand-up comedy in Hull and the surrounding area.
