Combining the life of a mature student and a stand-up comedian, Kevin organized and promoted various events in conjunction with Brighton University. He was also involved in the organisation and compering of two series of ‘House of Fun’ for Meridian TV in the late 90s. Added to this, he MC’d the Sussex heat of the BBC New Acts Competition for four consecutive years.

Upon leaving University in 2001, Kevin continued to work in the field of stand-up comedy promotion, co-founding Barnstormers Comedy whilst working full-time as a teacher. To this day, Kevin – in the guise of Barnstormers Comedy – continues to present and co-promote regular evenings of stand-up comedy at a variety of arts centres and theatres throughout the UK. They include: The Ropery Hall, Barton-upon-Humber; The Grove Theatre Dunstable; Junction Goole; The Capitol Horsham; Leighton Buzzard Theatre; Salisbury Arts Centre; The Ropetackle Shoreham; Winchester Discover Centre.

Barnstormers Comedy has a long history of booking shows for other venues, be they regular or one-off gigs; as well as corporate events, parties and individual celebrations.
